Puerto Rico IIBA Chapter works towards the advancement of the practice of business analysis in Puerto Rico and locally represents the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
The purpose of the Puerto Rico IIBA Chapter is to promote the practice of business analysis, raise the profile of the business analyst role, provide pathways to learn about business analysis best practices and support opportunities for members and non-members to network with, and gain knowledge from seasoned Business Analysis practitioners as well as with industry and government leaders.
The objectives of the Chapter are to:
advance the role of the Business Analyst
Increase industry awareness and benefit of the Business Analyst role
Support opportunities for Business Analyst to network
Provide pathways to learn about business analysis best practices
Business analysis is the absolute most important competency for an IT organization. It is the very heart and soul of the value IT is meant to bring to the business.
The Puerto Rico IIBA Chapter has shaped a curriculum for Business Analyst. These courses will facilitate the acquisition and practice of the major capabilities needed in the profession.
In particular the skills of:
business case formulation;
project scoping and definition
and finally translating all that into a set of solution options
You will be able to obtain Professional Development (PD) Hours needed for certification and the Continuing Development Units (CDUs) needed for re-certification.
